Page for: John Holmes and representatives of the Humber's business community!
Our Personal Message:
Thank you for visiting the 'Big Bad Biz Bike Ride' fundraising page.
In support of Business Week's Charity, the Victoria Climbie Charitable Trust, I'm undertaking a sponsored cycling event, the 'Big Bad Biz Bike Ride'. Over Business Week (1-5 June) I'll be joined by many supporters from the Humber's business community to cycle between each of the programme's 30 venues to raise money for the appeal. This mammoth week long journey will cover over 250 miles - the equivalent of cycling from Hull to Southampton!
Anyone is welcome to join us with smaller legs including Willerby to Hessle at just 2.8 miles and for the more adventurous the longest leg is Carlton to Bridlington at 49.5 miles! Please contact Anja on 01482 3787404, anja.hazebroek@hullforward.co.uk if you would like to take part.
Making a donation through Charity Giving is simple. charitygiving.co.uk is operated by The Dove Trust, a charity with over 25 years experience of helping individuals, charities and good causes globally, so your giving is safe and secure.
Charity Giving will reclaim gift aid tax on your donation (if you are a UK taxpayer), meaning any donation is worth around 25% more. They also charge less than other fundraising websites, so more money goes to this great cause!
So please sponsor me now and thanks again!

We are raising money for Victoria Climbie Charitable Trust:
I'm cycling for the Victoria Climbie Charitable Trust, a charity which has been supported by Business Week for the last 3 years.
Specifically, the Humber's business community has been raising money to build and run a school in Victoria's memory - ensuring that the children of Abobo in the Ivory Coast can gain the education that Victoria so craved and in the pursuit of which led to her shocking and untimely death.
In this third year of support for the charity, the challenge is simple - year one you helped to build the school, year two you helped to staff the school; this year we are aiming to make three things happen with your support:
- Raising enough money to buy a landrover/bus to help transport children from local villages to the school; - Accepting donations throughout Business Week to continue to support the school; - Asking businesses to donate their old computer equipment which will be recycled for use in the school.
Your support really does count!
