A great opportunity to have a refined wine tasting evening with dinner in one of the most prestigious bars in the City.

Thank you for your support, many people giving a little mounts up to a lot.

We are raising money for Colombia Caravana Limited:

The Colombia Caravana Lawyers Group UK is a group of international lawyers set up in 2008 to
monitor human rights abuses suffered by lawyers in Colombia.

Our mission is to protect lawyers and judges who are threatened or oppressed in their work. The high profile of the Caravana serves as a protective measure by demonstrating the concern of the international community for the welfare of human rights lawyers in Colombia. The Caravana lawyers provide support and assistance to Colombian human rights lawyers in their work to uphold the rule of law and provide access to justice for the Colombian people.

The group visited Colombia in 2008 and 2010 at the invitation of ACADEHUM - the Colombian Association of Human Rights Lawyers. ACADEHUM invited foreign lawyers to Colombia to report on the killings, threats, and harassment to which human rights advocates are subjected there. The group will be returning to Colombia in 2012 to follow up on the recommendations of previous missions and to monitor the cases and issues uncovered during previous visits.

We greatly value the financial support received by the Caravana’s international supporters which enables us to continue in our work to maintain the safety of the Colombian lawyers and promote the defence of human rights.
