CHARLIE'S WALK 2011
Here we go again!!
This is my third annual charity walk to raise funds for the abcfund. My previous two charity walks have raised in excess of £2500 for the Sussex based children's charity that aims to bring a smile to disadvantaged / disabled children and their families.
In 2009, I raised £746 which enabled the children, families and staff from Chestnut Tree House to have a fantastic day out at Drusillas and also to pay for panto tickets for Snow White at the Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne.
In 2010 I raised £1759 which paid for two days trips for disadvantaged Sussex children to visit Clambers, Hastings and Groombridge Place, nr Tunbridge Wells. The remaining money paid for panto tickets to see Jack and the Beanstalk.
In 2011 I am again teaming up with the Seaford Ramblers to undertake another mammoth 10 mile charity walk around the Sussex Downs. This will take place on Sunday 12th June 2011.
I would love to raise more than last year, so please sponsor me and help put smiles back on the faces of the young people of Sussex!!
