Why have I been charged even though my payment failed?
Your bank has to authorise your card for us to get the CV2/AVS results. Therefore if you fail the CV2/AVS authorisation it is possible that the funds will be held by your bank until the authorisation code automatically expires, which can take up to 5 days. As a result the transaction may temporarily appear on your statement. This is standard practice by most banks, please be sure that the Dove Trust has not taken your funds and the authorisation will expire automatically after a few days.
