ANOTHER YEAR OF LIVING STRENUOUSLY! (Read my blog at: http://www.briannew.com) ********************************** “I run because I can - When I get tired, I remember those who can’t run, and what they’d give to have this precious gift that I take for granted - Then, I run even harder - For I know they would do the same for me.”
I am again undertaking a number of Endurance events over the 12 month period - 11/11/2012 (Remembrance Day) through to 10/11/2013. In doing these events I am raising money for:
> FISHER HOUSE UK – a home away from home for seriously injured military patients at the QEHB (http://www.fisherhouseuk.org/), and
> ST.JOSEPHS FAMILY CENTRE, Warrington - a local charity that supports families by providing support and counselling services (such as children’s bereavement counselling) (http://www.saintjosephsfamilycentre.org.uk/).
During the 12 months I will be doing the following Endurance Events:
- 11/11/2012 - Remembrance Ride (11 Hour 11 Mins Bike Ride) COMPLETED - 20/01/2013 - Four Villages Half Marathon - 16/03/2013 - Gin Pit 'Double Trouble' Marathon (2 Marathons in 2 days) - 18/05/2013 - Lanzarote Ironman - 17/08/2013 - Hell On The Humber 12 Hour Run plus a Double Ironman and a Triple Ironman somewhere along the way!!!!
In total - about 1150 miles of racing done - in support of the two charities. _______________________________________________________________________

CharityGiving is operated by The Dove Trust, who will reclaim gift aid tax on your donation (if you are a UK taxpayer), meaning any donation is worth around 25% more.
