Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
The Support Group helps thousands of people every year to manage this distressing and disabling condition. Up to 15 sufferers each day contact Julie, via the website, for help and advice; many are desperate and don't know what to do or where to turn for help. There is no charge whatsoever for this service, and the Group is run entirely by volunteers.
Support from its members, many of whose own lives have been transformed by Julie's generous sharing of her expertise, is vital for the Group to continue helping others.
Just £1 would provide a handful of leaflets on Hyperhidrosis for a GP to give to his/her patients. £5 would provide enough for a whole practice. £20 would provide enough leaflets for an outpatients department in a hospital and £50 will provide for training a dermatology department in a hospital on how to treat patients. No matter how small, every little helps!

Julie is raising money for Hyperhidrosis Support Group:
The UK Hyperhidrosis Support Group aims to provide specific individual advice to UK sufferers, many of whom are desperate and have nowhere else to turn. The Group also works tirelessly to raise awareness of the condition among medical practitioners.
Run by volunteers, it relies solely on donations and sponsorship to continue this worthwhile work, and does not charge a membership fee (unlike most other support groups).
Since she set the group up 6 years ago, Julie Halford has helped thousands suffering from this distressing condition, and she devotes a considerable amount of her own time to running the group and replying personally to every plea for help or advice generated by the web site www.hyperhidrosisuk.org.
She addresses groups of dermatalogists, GPs and nurses to update them on the latest treatments, and writes clinical papers. Hilary Furber helps Julie with accounts & admin too.
Funds are sorely needed to maintain the website, print leaflets, and travel to dermatology workshops.
