Our Personal Message:
Thank you so much for visiting my online fundraising page. Having been diagnosed with Alzheimers' just before my 60th birthday in 2007, I am determined to raise yet more money for VITAL research into this devastating and demoralising disease. The Forget Me Not Rowers had a brilliant time last July and raised a gob-smacking £97,000, so my stalwart crew and I got the blades flashing again and rowed downstream from Henley to Eton on Wednesday JUNE 1st in bright sunshine!. You have no idea how much your wonderful support has helped and we have specifically targeted a research project on the benefits of exercise, which produces a protein that can combat the build-up of amyloid deposits in the brain.
According to the latest World Alzheimer Report, in 2010 an estimated 35.6 million people worldwide will be living with dementia. This number is expected to double every 20 years.
THE NEED FOR RESEARCH IS ENORMOUS - YOUR CONTRIBUTION IS MAKING A REAL DIFFERENCE.

Making a donation through CharityGiving is simple.
charitygiving.co.uk is operated by The Dove Trust, a charity with almost 30 years' experience of helping individuals, charities and good causes globally, so your giving is safe and secure.

CharityGiving will reclaim gift aid tax on your donation (if you are a UK taxpayer), meaning any donation is worth around 25% more. They also charge less than most other fundraising websites, so more money goes to this great cause!

Thanks again for your support!
