Jamie's Personal Message:
Well hello! As some of you may know i'm going to be "competing" in the Madrid marathon in 2 weeks time. It will held in the 2nd best city in Spain on Sunday 25th April at 9.00am.
If I manage to get up at such an ungodly hour on a Sunday i'll be hoping to complete the 42.2km before Paco gets out of bed. Not only is this marathon a great way to finally use up that large tub of vaseline that I keep in my top shelf but it also serves as a way of raising money for a worthy charity - UYDO who work with disadvantaged young people in sub-Saharan Africa by giving them a small loan, business training, and mentoring opportunities, so they can start a business and lift themselves out of poverty. The funds you contribute with will be distributed as loans to young entrepreneurs.
You can make a donation by clicking below and if you can't make a donation please take a look at UYDO's website www.uydo.org
CharityGiving will reclaim gift aid tax on your donation (if you are a UK taxpayer), meaning any donation is worth around 25% more. They also charge less than other fundraising websites, so more money goes to this great cause!
So please sponsor me now and thanks again!

Jamie is raising money for United Youth Development Organization (UYDO): http://www.UYDO.org/
The United Youth Development Organization (UYDO) is a grass roots, non-profit organisation driven by members from more than 35 countries.
UYDO's aim is to be a platform for young people (aged 15-29) to use their skills and talents to help other young people living in poverty in developing nations.
We do this primarily by fundraising and lending to young entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa who want to start their own businesses and lift themselves out of poverty. We also encourage our members to volunteer for UYDO, raise awareness, and contribute to improving the opportunities available to our entrepreneurs through research and field work.
Jamie - just don't get distracted by the vaseline - have a great run. Dad xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The Vaseline pot as you will find when you reach for it is empty. its contents are gone along with the memories of the debauched nights that leave you needing to run more miles than any man should X

Hey Jamie - go for it and enjoy! My mum completed her first marathon aged 50 last year and doesn't stop going on how much she loved it! Looks like a good cause too. Starz x
