Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
The reason I decided to run 50 miles in one go is because its just minor pain compared to what children with cancer and their families go through, I chose Bryan Gunns leukaemia appeal because not only is he a norwich legend but lost his daughter to leukaemia when she was a mere two years old, so if you feel like you can donate to this cause for me to reach my total i would be forever grateful.
Myself and Carl are both ex army personnel and will stop at nothing to finish this event, wish us both the best of luck.
We are raising money for Bryan Gunn's Appeal:
Bryan and Susan Gunn's two-year-old daughter, Francesca, died from leukaemia in 1992.
In memory of Francesca, this Appeal supports children and families with leukaemia and cancer, and undertakes research into the causes and cures of leukaemia, in Norwich and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The Appeal also runs a telephone support line, gaps:line for anyone to call to talk about issues surrounding leukaemia and cancer in children and young people in their family or friends. This line is open every day from 8 to 10 pm, and is staffed by volunteer parents who have had a child with leukaemia or cancer, and know the experience first-hand.
The Appeal reached the milestone of £1million raised in August 2010, and announced a dvd/internet project which will help every family which has a child diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia.
