Lucy Ashworth & Catherine Johnston are raising money and awareness for child soldiers in Uganda – and they have had their hair cut off, just as many of the child soldiers do.
We had our long hair cut off in front of the school, on the field at the Howard of Effingham on 3rd July 2009
The money is for a town in Paminano, Uganda, where there is a nursery school for the village children and ex-child soldiers, but currently no primary school because there simply isn’t enough money to build one.
