Charis Church was established in Sheffield, UK, in 2001.
A community of Christian believers who come together to worship, hear the word of God and encourage each other in doing the works of the Gospel.
We welcome all who want serve Jesus and those who want to discover who Jesus is and what difference He can make to our lives.
We understand the fragile imperfection of our humanity and aim to encourage and support each other as we work out our faith and reach out to a needy world.
Our goal, as a charismatic evangelical church, is to reach out to a lost world with the love of God, introducing people, regardless of age, ethnic background or social status, to His son Jesus.
We aim to encourage and build up those who find faith by holding regular meetings where we will join together to worship God and study the Bible. We trust that this "discipling" will enable those who join us to also go out and show God's love to the world.
Here at Charis, we understand the pressures and struggles of life in this post-modern society. We understand how the trends of this world have broken many lives. We are working at Charis to provide a place of rest, healing and growth for those who want it.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, cares passionately about each individual and longs for a relationship with them. We consider our role as Pastors to be one of facilitating that process in whatever way we can.
