Who We Are
Findlay Church is an independent Evangelical church meeting in a large building situated near St George's Cross in Glasgow. The congregation of about 300 includes people of all ages from all walks of life. Our vision as a church is ''to make God's Love Visible'' in the community in which God has placed us. We have a heart to bring God and his love into the everyday lives of people in our local community, and all who come into contact with the Church week by week.

Brief History
The Church was founded in 1874 and a permanent Church building was built in 1894 and was originally known as the Tabernacle. This building was extended to its current size in 1906 to house its growing congregation.
The Church name was changed to the Findlay Memorial Church in 1980 to honour its founder Pastor DJ Findlay. To many it is simply known as "Findlay".

Findlay Family NetworkFindlay Family Network
Findlay Family Network is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting families in our local community. Our aim is to bring relief from the immediate and longer term effects of family breakdown. We do this through demonstrating Gods love in action by way of various activity classes, positive parent training and counselling which can contribute significantly to a reduction in family breakdown. We value parents and young people and empower them to dream dreams and to contribute towards their community in a healthy and positive way.

Alpha coursesAlpha Courses
As a church we run The Alpha course. The course is designed primarily for people who aren't churchgoers and each course is open to everyone who would like to attend.

Most courses attract a diverse range of guests of different ages and backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints. Guests attend for a wide variety of reasons - some want to investigate whether God exists; others are concerned about what happens after death. Some people have particular questions that they would like to discuss; others want to understand other peoples' beliefs or would like to explore what the purpose of life is. Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.

Small GroupsSmall Groups
The groups provide an environment to build relationships, study God's word together, pray and share with one another and receive spiritual support. Small Groups also provide the first level of Pastoral Care for our members. Through the groups people can discover the gifts they have been given, and use them to serve and help others.

Youth WorkYouth Work
We arrange youth activities for youngsters in our congregation and the local community for all ages from the youngest right through to early twenties.
We have a Child Protection policy operating in the Church in order to ensure best practice in the Youth work.

Student ministries

Student Ministries
We support students in their Christian faith and help them to integrate into the Church family here at Findlay. We are committed to seeing students being transformed in their Christian lives and in helping them live for Jesus on campus and with those they share their lives with.

CAN YOU HELP?
As can be seen we do a lot of work for God in our local community and overseas through our mission work. It takes a lot of finance to support all the above activities added to this is the maintenance and running costs of our extensive property and payment of full and part-time staff.
If you would like to help us in this very important work a gift of any amount will work miracles.

You can give your name and a short message of encouragement or you can give anonymously by checking the relevant box.

Charity Giving will reclaim gift aid tax on your donation (if you are a UK taxpayer), meaning any donation is worth around 25% more.

We would like to thank you for your support and may God bless you all.
