On Saturday 25th September 2010, the team cycled up to 60 miles around the villages of Suffolk to raise money for Rattlesden Community Council. The proceeds of this event will go directly towards the building of our new community pavilion. So far we have raised in excess of £370,000 and the £10,000 we hope to raise will help to finish this project. The fundraising commenced over 7 years ago and this event was our final push towards the completion.
What a fantastic day we have had. The elements couldn't have done more to make life difficult but the team battled through. Keep the donations coming please. 60 miles in 25-30 miles an hour wind is more like 75 miles and hence I think they all deserve more than your original pledges!!
This fundraising page will remain open for donations other than those for the sponsored cycle ride.

To provide adequate recreational facilities, playing fields, playgrounds, community centres and other amenities of a similar character for the benefit of the community residing in Rattlesden and the neighbourhood in the interests of social welfare and with the objective of advancing education, furthering health, relieving poverty, distress or sickness or in pursuing any objects which now or hereafter may be deemed in law to be charitable by improving the conditions of life of the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intended.
