When you donate to a charity through us we collect only enough information about you, to process your donation and to satisfy the requirements of the charity commission.

If you have given us telephone instructions or email instructions we are required to write to you to confirm your donation, again to satisfy the requirements of the charity commission. When we confirm your transaction we do not write your full card details.

When you make a gift from your account to charity or good cause you can choose if that gift is to be anonymous. This may be verbal or written, and will apply only to that specific gift. In all other cases our normal practice is to disclose your name and address only to the receiving charity or good cause.

We will not disclose your name, email address, or other personal information to any other party without your permission.

At the end of the financial year, we send you a statement of your giving for the year. This is to help you complete your tax return. The statement is for your information only and is not sent to any other party.

Online giving through us is strictly permission-based.

We use secpay, which uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) online technology to encrypt the data you provide. All major Web browsers support SSL. The site becomes locked while you are giving us your credit card information and unlocks only when you leave the secured area.

When we receive confirmation or your online donation we do not have access to your full card details.
