Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. We are riding our motorcycles to the Nordkapp which is the most northerly point in Europe at the tip of Norway. The journey will involve riding over 4000 miles and will be covered in two weeks including time for the unavoidable ferry crossings. We will be starting and finishing in Hull, East Yorkshire.
It has been a dream to do this trip as not only is the Nordkapp a mystical destination but it will be a challenge to cover this distance in the time available. Of course, we want to go and we will enjoy it whatever happens but if we can mix pleasure with fund raising for an excellent cause, so much the better. We will cover our own costs so all funds raised will go to charity. We are running a blog to record the planning and then daily events as we make the journey. You can view the blog at

Dove House Hospice is a charity providing excellent care for people in the local community with life limiting illnesses. We are specialists in palliative care which is the total care of patients whose illness is no longer curable and for whom the goal must be quality of life.
Our services are available to anyone over the age of 18 years who has an illness which can no longer be cured. Care is provided for patients with cancer, neurological illnesses, heart diseases, respiritory diseases, HIV/AIDS and many other illness. Our care incorporates physical, social, pyschological and spiritual support delivered by a multi-professional team who embrace the family and significant others throughout the patient's illness.
There is no charge for any of our services as Dove House Hospice is maintained by funds raised in the local community and support from the local Primary Care Trusts.
