Shaun is raising money for Ellie's Fund (Brain Tumour Trust):
Ellie's Fund (Brain Tumour Trust) 'Ellie's Fund' was set up after the death of 14 year old Ellie Othick-Bowmaker from a brain tumour in February 2010.

During the 3 years that she fought her own 2 brain tumours, Ellie helped to raise over £25 000. She inspired many people to join in. Many of them still work alongside us today, keeping Ellie's memory alive, and helping other children in the same position.

We provide practical assistance to families of children with brain tumours. We also raise awareness about brain tumours and support the brain tumour research laboratory in Leeds; the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine.

- There are 16 000 new cases of brain tumours each year; of these 85% will succumb within 5 years of diagnosis.
- Brain tumour survival rates have not improved in 40 years.
- Shockingly, 65% more women die from a brain tumour each year than from cervical cancer.
